I don't mind companies copy-protecting their games, but the Spore copy protection installed rootkits and software that was next to impossible to remove once you uninstalled the game.. and what's more, it's not like it wasn't cracked the second the game was released anyways.

I don't see the big deal. a) spore was dumb. b) as if anyone is going to install it on more than 5 system in the game's life anyways.

But I do think that because of the uproar that Spore caused it will be different.

Anyways, whats the deal with sims 3 anyways? I hope it doesn't have the devil's own copy protection like spore did.
